Vacuum chamber with graphite heating technology and graphite piston
Furnace made of graphite and CFC material
Graphite furnace with a fully water-cooled vacuum / inert gas chamber that can be operated up to 2000°C.
Features the following special functions:
- Volume flow control in the cooling water cycle
- Volume flow control during inert gas operation
- Sample temperature measured with thermocouples and pyrometer technology
- Furnace temperature controlled with cascade control of the zones used
- Vacuum conditions monitored in the basic pump and turbo pump
- Viewing window for monitoring using video and pyrometer technology
- Mechanical linear deformation extensometer with fully motorised positioning
- Fully motorised bending and compression measuring system used in vacuum area
- 50/100 (KN) load strain sensor used in vacuum area
Tests:
1. Tensile tests on flat and round samples
2. 3-point and 4-point bending tests
3. Pressure tests
4. Shear tests
